Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the team at Assist Business IT Ltd.
Our small but mighty team is made up of IT consultants, technicians, web specialists, network engineers, and dedicated support staff. This breadth of expertise allows us to deliver the capabilities of a full in‑house IT department—at a fraction of the cost to our clients.
Where it began
Established in 2008, Assist Business IT started after several years of delivering large‑scale IT system rollouts for a major organisation. We initially provided IT support to local businesses and residential clients across the three counties surrounding East Dorset.
The business quickly gained a strong reputation within the community and soon outgrew our original office in Verwood. As demand increased, Assist expanded to include a growing team of technicians alongside our Client Liaison Manager, Crissi, who brought valuable experience as a web designer and online marketing consultant, having previously run a local business herself.
As the company evolved, so did the needs of our clients. We began offering structured IT support packages to local businesses and, at this point, made the decision to stop supporting domestic clients so we could focus all our resources on our business customers.
Today, Assist Business IT Ltd works exclusively with small to medium‑sized businesses (SMEs).
